09.01.2022 Good news Melburnians From 28 Oct, licence testing in Metro Melbourne is back. We’ve also got new testing sites and extra staff on the way to tackle the over... 80,000 in our backlog. We'll contact everyone with a suspended test with a text message over the next few days with details to re-book. No new appointments are available at this time. For people experiencing symptoms there is onl...y 1 reason to leave the house medical care, including getting tested. While waiting for your test result you must not attend work. There is support for eligible workers to enable them to isolate while waiting for their test and if the test is positive, to isolate until they are no longer at risk of spreading the virus. Driving solely for the purpose of practise is not permitted unless it is professional driver training necessary for the operations of a permitted workplace.
