Due to Stage 4 we are currently providing driveway service - so just toot your horn and we will come out and collect!... The test is great for all grazing animals (not just horses).

Many thanks to BG Infrastructure Services for pick up and delivery with a smile For those of you who donated hay, it was requested that we swap for cow & sheep feed instead to leave more room on the truck. Gippsland Horse and Stock Safe have asked me to pass on their heartfelt thanks for your wonderful generosity, it is really terrific how everyone has rallied around. The volunteers will be distributing this personally to farms who need it.

We also have a drop off point in the store if anyone has items they would like to send up to the fire victims (for instance saddlery, feed (all animals), medical etc). Our family was overwhelmed by the kindness of the community when our property was impacted in the recent Bunyip fires and we want to pay it forward. We will ensure all donations reach the right place. Thank you all for your generosity the Aussie spirit is amazing and humbling.

02.01.2022 Please get on board Not worried about the trucks or the views What we should be WORRIED about ... Hansons processing plant at this site is planned to be directly above two mile creek, this creeks water supply directly feeds dams that water cattle intended for human consumption and also runs into the bunyip river. Bunyip river provides water for vegetables, animals, crops and dairy farms, as well as an abundant amount of native fauna including fish. This same company Hanson/ Heidelberg group was found GUILTY for dumping toxic wastewater into a local creek at there Cupertino quarry killing wildlife. These big companies have no care for the local community and local flora and fauna.

02.01.2022 I found this tick on my yearling yesterday! Shes not come into contact with any new animals so I can only assume its come via the local wildlife (deer, roo, wombat?). My vet says its a relatively harmless bush tick (rather than a paralysis tick). They can still cause issues eg infection etc. so watch out for these little buggers in hot dry weather. To remove grab with tweezers as close to the skin as possible and apply an even pressure so the tick lets go rather than its... head snapping off in the horse and causing toxins to be released. Or just freak out and grab it like I did and hope that the head isnt left behind ha ha! Satisfyingly enough this fat little so and so does still have its head because as you can see its still wriggling. Squash thoroughly they are hard to kill!
