20.01.2022 Good evening customers. The Lobethal and Woodside stores will be open from 9am tomorrow, Littlehampton and Balhannah will be business as usual. Birdwood will be closed.

20.01.2022 For anyone who would like to give a helping hand, please head down to the retirement village centre (71 main street Lobethal) which is now the bushfire recovery... centre. It will be open from 8am to 8pm. There will also be a town meeting everyday from 11am at the Lobethal oval/Rec centre. If you have been effected by the fires or just willing to help, please come down for more information, anyone is welcome, the more help we get the better and those that are in need of assistance PLEASE dont be afraid to ask. WE ARE HERE FOR YOU *During the meeting we will identify donations that are needed and this will be shared with you all for those wanting to help*

Maybe the answer is to go to the end of your driveway at 0600 and have the nation line its streets everywhere around the nation and share a minutes silence tuned to the ABC offering the national ceremony! 18.01.2022 Not long now until we get to say thank you to the myriad of people that not only fought to protect our communities but are still helping rebuild them. CFS, MFS, St John, Sapol, Army, BlazeAid, Aviation Firefighting Services, Farm Units, Animal Rescuers and more, will be on parade along with some of our states best marching bands book a table at one of our fantastic venues or enjoy snack from our street vendors.

16.01.2022 Good Morning. There is a genuine and admirable community spirit running through South Australia right now. There has been an overwhelming response to our post y...esterday. Thank you for all the comments. I have two new pieces of information I would like to share: 1) Our friends at IGA have joined Foodland and will also be donating a $500 voucher to all that have lost a home. This will make it a $500 Foodland AND $500 IGA voucher. Thank you to IGA. While nothing can make up for the devastation these families have been put through, hopefully these vouchers can add a small smile in this time of need. 2) How can one collect these vouchers? The Bushfire Recovery Centre in Lobethal (based in the retirement village community centre - 71 Main Street, Lobethal) will be handing out the vouchers to those in need. We need to take a moment here and thank the dedicated team at the recovery centre. The support they are showing truly exemplifies community spirit. Thank you to everybody who is assisting. This is what being community minded is all about. To see all of us stand by one another in times of need is what gives us Hope. Courage. Pride. To those doing it tough, we are here with you. Stay safe, South Australia.

It has taken a lot of work to make trails safe, with massive thanks ...to our staff, Defence Australia, Team Rubicon Australia, Conservation Volunteers Australia, Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges Natural Resources Management Board, and Friends of Lobethal Bushland Park. 06.01.2022 *EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED* On Saturday 14 th March at 6.30pm we have a Thank you Parade for The Volunteers that were involved in the Cudlee Creek Fires. The Parade start at 6.30pm we have chalk for the children to draw on the streets and after the Parade we will have Food Stalls and the local shops open as well as The Bierhaus, The Lobethal Hotel and The Rising Sun Hotel will be serving meals and Lots of Bands playing in the Street til 9.30 pm we would love every one to come and support the Volunteers.

04.01.2022 TO OUR WONDERFUL STORES AND RETAIL OUTLETS: An update on our deliveries and stock levels over the Christmas period. Hello to all of our valued customers and sup...pliers. As many of you know there have been some horrible fires in the Adelaide Hills over the last few days. Unfortunately our hometown in Lobethal has been badly affected and one of the worse hit. Cudlee Creek is the "town over the hill" where it all started, and Lobethal was in the direct path. A number of our staff have extensive property damage, but thankfully no one has been injured or any homes lost. We know of a number in the community who have lost their homes which is devastating. The CFS and emergency services were unbelievable, special thank you to all of them. Our business, and factory is fine but has sustained smoke damage to stock, and the 2 day power outage has forced us to throw-out all of our frozen stock of Emmaline's and Marketplace brands from both of our freezers and multiple cool rooms. A lot of our Raw ingredients are also in need of replacement. The image below is taken from Melinda Rankins from our building overlooking what was a lovely backdrop! Our wonderful neighbours Udder Delights, Fruitwise & the Lobethal Bierhaus are all OK but also have a lot of cleanup to do. We are doing our best to send our orders that were supposed to leave on Friday, but orders may be delayed a day or two or short shipped as we find out what stock is and isn't OK. Really appreciate your support as we have some delays and out-of-stocks over coming weeks as we get fully back to service. 04.01.2022 After our Thank You Street Parade on the 14 March we have some amazing bands playing all down the main street. The bands have all volunteered their time to entertain the crowd. The Royal Navy Band and The Tea Tree Gully Redbacks

02.01.2022 It is unfortunate but obviously the message isn't reaching everyone. Please share this to your friends, groups etc. Lobethal is still under a watch and act, it is not safe to enter, there has been loss of life, homes, businesses and so on. There are still active fires and many smoldering stumps etc. Some areas are without power. Lobethal is working to help each other recover from this disaster. Please come visit us in the new year, buy a coffee or a glass of wine, purchase a gift or two and support us. Thank you all.

01.01.2022 Last Year The Lights of Lobethal were unable to have a Christmas Pageant. Due to the recent Fires in Cudlee Creek. The Lights of Lobethal would like to thank the CFS, Police, Ambulance, Army and all Volunteers that were involved in the Fires. The Lights of Lobethal are having a parade in honour and we would like to thank the volunteers on the 14 th of March at 6pm with a street party to follow. More details in the coming weeks ... So we hope we will have everyone come up to Lobethal and thank all the Volunteers for what they have done in the community and surrounding areas. See more
