25.01.2022 Hello, members & friends, Its has been a very long break since we had a meeting,hope your all ready to attack,with heaps o...f new ideas,because our first show is not far away. Our judges are booked & excited to be coming to Tassie. The first meeting for 2019 is next Monday 1st April at 7 pm in the club rooms,come in North Fenton Street gate,we would appreciate help & anytime you can spare. 21.01.2022 Dear Members & friends, The annual meeting is this Monday evening 21st October,7 pm in the clubrooms,come in off North Fenton. We are a small hard working committee,that needs more help in 2020 to keep this club moving forward,so if you have any spare time,we would love to see you.... The sale of the show ground is still in the hands of the lawyers,we are hopeful to have the pavilion for the next twelve months,Ellis may have more information by the annual meeting. The club would appreciate anyone who has a shed,warehouse or a building to hold 700 pens at cheap rent,the club would be very grateful,so start thinking. 17.01.2022 We have just heard the very sad news that Rebecca Johnstone passed away last night after a long brave battle with breast cancer We would like to pass on our condolences to her partner Michael, daughter Katie and her family and friends.

15.01.2022 Not long till the rarebreeds annual show which is being held at the Devonport poultry club pavilion on the 24th of August. If you havent already, please get your entries to Jill Weaver ( Rarebreeds) by Sunday. The Devonport Poultry Club will have bacon and egg breakfast available to purchase on the day. Please come along and see some of our rare breeds of poultry.

03.01.2022 Well what a day, I came over for Maurice Youngs Testimonial Show today. Such a wonderful day, great people, lots of chooks & the food was unbelievable. Congra...tulations to Maurice who also took out Champion Bird of Show. George Norman & Keith Kennedy were the judges & did a great job. Belinda from the Devonport Poultry Club will post the other winners details & I will share them as well. George also presented Maurice with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Langshan Club of Victoria. See more
