11.01.2022 I love making jewellery, especially with these materials. There’s something playful and unique about using the combination of recycled wood, glass and metal and stringing them together . . . My jewellery is a reminiscent of my childhood, and finding all sizes of jars filled with plastic and wooden beads. They were always hidden in the bottom of the drawers in the beach house. I don’t know what they were doing there or who used to use them, so I used to make jewellery and wh...en I was done, untie it and let all the beads fall back into the jars, putting them back into the drawers just like I found them. . . . These days, I focus on using recycled materials to make unique statement pieces.
