25.01.2022 Hairline One thing about foiling we work hard on is blending the foil placement ‘line’. It’s about blending off the product where the lightner meets the roots, softening the foiled look and helping the colour to grow out a little more seamlessly. 24.01.2022 Reflecting on this year COVID has certainly brought its heavy challenges however it has also brought opportunities to make changes that otherwise I wouldn’t have done I’m grateful to have made some changes to work hours that has brought a better balance to business/mum... Filling our days with what fulfils our passion Looking at our values and deciding what really is important Really thinking about where I spend my money, locally, and Australian made. Supporting other small local business where I can. I really need my downtime to be able to give my best, so setting boundaries - this one is (really!) hard, but important if I want to give my best. 2020 has taught me a lot. 21.01.2022 I used the 1st of 3 applications of @khairpepaustralia tonight X2 shampoo in shower, NO conditioner. Towel dry, apply full tube (or half tube for fine hair) of K18Peptide masque and leave for 4 (or more) minutes before combing through - with hands or a wide tooth comb, NO fine tooth combs as it will over stretch the hair. LEAVE IN! No rinse out, that’s it. 19.01.2022 12 months since we closed due to COVID! We closed without knowing how long for We closed without knowing where income would come from We closed while I worried how we would get to the other side of this with a business in tact... 12 months on, we’ve changed how we operate and the experience for clients when visiting the salon I’ve set some personal boundaries to manage a better work/life balance (current not succeeding in this area very well, but that’s just how the balance is sometimes ) Including some staff changes, our team has grown with 3 new faces including our very first in salon make up artists @hair.bykate @natalieann_makeup_stylist_ @rachaelmackhair Our days are booked, weddings are back and I’m working on some future planning that I can hopefully get underway this year Covid, shmovid, onwards and upwards from here See more
