This is a massive achievement and a huge congratulations to the students involved. The Student News Team entered ATOM's 'Front Page' competition, which was open to all Australian schools. Yesterday they were announced as the winners of their category (Lower Secondary). The prizes for winning include a set of iPads for Students News Team, a private tour of the Sydney ...Morning Herald and a write-up and photo in their newspaper. Well done to our LIHS students for gaining national recognition and producing the best middle school magazine in all of Australia! 07.01.2022 On Friday 13th November, 12 staff from Corrimal High School, Lake Illawarra High School and Warrawong High School spent a day engaging with the various technology platforms available through the Illawarra Academy of STEM Excellence lending Library. Staff from the Technology 4 Learning (T4L) team which are part of the NSW Department of Education's Information Technology Directorate (ITD) including Ryan Noonan and Jarrod Bourke as well as STEM Project Officer (Andrew Laidler) g...ave a presentation on the changing nature of technology, work and education prior to leading 5 workshops where teachers were able to Tinker with educational technologies. Some of the technology platform workshops included:- Microbit, TinkerCAD, COSPaces, Merge 3D, Turing Tumbler, Marty Robot and 3D Splat tools. Teachers from each of the three high schools as a result of these workshops have increased their knowledge and skills as well as there capacity to deliver STEM content to students.

07.01.2022 Year 12 Sign-Out Day! For Yr 12 to sign-out of school, you will need to attend on Monday 16/11, anytime between periods 3 & 4. Please go directly to the office and collect your documents and finalize any outstanding fees, then proceed to the Library where a faculty representative will sign you out of your subjects.... This NEEDS to be completed before your Graduation/before you can receive your certificates.
