04.01.2022 We have had some FAQ regarding non-competitors attending the Century Batteries Wynarka Enduro. We have stated that this event, will not have spectators. This is... an agreement between Summit Racing Team Car Club and Motorsport Australia and this is based on contact tracing reporting that is mandatory for this event. What we have done though, is allow each competitor to nominate 4 pit crew members and 6 support crew. A total of 12 people per entrant including the driver and navigator. We have done this so we can capture all people attending the event in a non official capacity prior to the event. This then allows us to quickly check off names at the gate, rather than stopping vehicles for a prolonged time to collect contact data. Another way to attend the event is to come in an official capacity, Pit Marshall, recovery, helper or Covid compliance cleaner. So, No....... there are no spectators, but there is support crew and officials. No...... we are not stopping non competitors coming to the event, we are doing it in manageable and controlled way, to comply with Motorsport Australia and SA Government Guidelines. FAQ Q: Do I need to list everyone coming with me to the event, even children A: yes, all individuals attending need to be nominated Q: I dont normally come with a team, I just come to spectate and camp? A: Your best bet is to contact one of your friends that is entered and get on their support crew or you could offer your time as an official Q: One of my support team is only coming on one of the days, do I need to pay the $10 camp fee A: No you do not for that individual if they are not camping. Q: Are camp fees payable for children A: Camp fees apply to all individuals over the age of 12 years (13 and above) Q: How do I nominate as an official A: follow the links on offroadracing.com.au for the event If you have further questions, please PM this facebook page.

01.01.2022 4 Chevs and a Mitzi We have 5 Pro buggies coming to Wynarka, some with current form, others with long standing respect in the class and a couple of dark horses.... First out of the gate is Andy Maxwell in the 93 Rivmaster (#71), being pushed along by a Mitsubishi 2.0L Turbo. Andy Maxwell has been laying low for a couple of years after exiting the tin tops and securing himself the well-presented Pro Class Rivmaster. We saw this car at the Ladies and Juniors last year where his daughter, Makayla took it through its paces to a 6th outright. The car had good speed, and with 8 months to work on the car since, Andy will have it primed ready to go. Im picking a solid class place and a top 10 finish. Andy is sponsored by Anything Cars Mechanical. The wily fox is next, Trevor Copeland returns to his home track again this year, last year a throttle cable was his undoing, but expect to see a reliable car this time round. Talking to Trevor on the weekend, he is saying he is just looking for a nice drive come race weekend, but Trevor is a previous winner here and knows the track and how to win. Trevor will be piloting a Single seat 2002 Jimco (#999) powered by a L98 6L Chev. You can be guaranteed; he will run a measured race and be within striking distance come the 2nd half of Sundays 8 laps. 2XBR racing team members Brett Rogers and Brett Richardson is back on track again after a fantastic showing a the Loveday 280 a few weeks ago, where they picked up a 6th outright and 2nd in class. The boys will be in control of a 2011 Rids Joker (#95) powered by a Chev L98 6.0L V8. Last years Wynarka trip was not fruitful having some issues on Sunday, but from their showing at Loveday, they are on the money and will be up the pointy end. Prediction.Top 5, 2XBR are sponsored by Advanced Viticulture & Management, Springton Hotel, Regal Concrete and Richardson Transport. A blast from the past returns, Wes Cowie in his 2000 Jimco (#92) with a newly fitted Chev LS 6Ltr V8. This car has been off the track for a couple of years, and has been converted from mid mount to rear mount. We may see some wheel stands of the line if we are lucky. Wes has picked up Jed Bramley as his navigator for this years Wynarka. Wes has listed his last outing as the Loveday 350 where he finished 3rd outright and first in class, before making the car changes. Move Yourself Motorsport is sponsored by Move Yourself Trailer Hire, BC Trailer Engineers and Vipertrak. Last but certainly not least is the team of Brenton and Matthew Gallasch, in their Southern Cross Mark 5 (#60) with a Chev LS 6000cc monster. At Wynarka last year these guys battled the mud and rain to pick up 5th Outright and 3rd in class which is a great result, and only weeks ago picked up 12th at Loveday against a quality field. The boys will be eyeing off a podium spot this year after just missing out last year. Brenton and Matthew are sponsored by 2 heavy hitters on SA Off Roading scene, Element Offroad and Mannum Auto Centre. All in all, the Pro field while slightly depleted in numbers from previous years looks strong with well-prepared cars and a good mix of talented teams. One thing for certain is that all of these cars will be in the top 25% of the field come race start on Saturday. At least one of these cars will be in the top 3 come the end of Sunday.but which one?
