Hes like, No, come on, I really need you to die for me. So we agreed to meet in the lineup at Chuns Reef the next morning. We had to meet out in the lineup because there were so many girls around him, after him all the time, that we couldnt do it on the beach, we had to do it out in the water. There were girls chasing him everywhere, Ive never seen anything quite like it. Hed done Dirty Dancing and movies like that, so I knew who he was, so Im out at Chuns, and sure enough I see him paddling over all kinda kooky and awkward, he wasnt really a surfer. 01.01.2022 RIP Derek Ho 93 World Champion and Pipe Master Derek Ho Has Died. Derek Ho, Hawaiis first ever world professional surfing champion, has died. Derek, 55, suffered a major heart attack and took himself to hospital, where he slipped into a coma and died late this afternoon.
