23.01.2022 Written by owner Kirsty Batson: The day in the life of Wainui Gold! Wainui Gold (aka Kevin) is a 6 (rising 7) year old gelding who retired from racing in February this year! I picked him up a week after he raced and took him to Tambourine Equestrian Group to get some videos of him jumping as I was going to sell him (change of plans after that day). I used to ride him track work at the Gold Coast daily before taking him on as a Showjumper/Eventer!... He truly surprised me and I couldn't be happier with my decision to keep him! He had his first show 2 weeks after he finished racing and got a 4th in the 70cm (our 2nd class). His first class was the 80cm where we knocked almost every rail and our 3rd class was the 90cm's, where we managed to knock only 2 rails (after a change of bit). He has jumped many 28 cross country jumps (training) and cleared up to 1.30 at home! I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this fella and am very excited to continue working with him once the shows are up and running again.

11.01.2022 A great BIG huge congratulations goes to Tamieka Edwards for winning both Champion & Reserve in the Led & Ridden last weekend at the Townsville Dressage & Hack show with her horse Astrodynamic, by Encosta De Lago. Tamieka has done an incredible job with this horse. Well done Tamieka
09.01.2022 A quick update on whats happening. Our off the track Qld website will be finished in about 2 to 3 weeks. It will have a calendar of events on the website. Depending on restrictions for next year, we can add another couple now being Redcliffe, Sarina & Cloncurry. Quite a few Ag Shows are still waiting for general meetings for approval. So far we are covering show jumping, the show ring, Dressage, led classes, fashions and we are focusing on doing a lot for our juniors coming up the ranks as well. So everyone will be looked after.
