25.01.2022 Well it’s come to the point , I’m Sick of lack of Exercise, lack of Motivation, with no Real goals in sight I have taken a new angle not results based just simple... Health and fitness based I’m not going to state what I’m doing but believe me when I say this as I get older (49 this month) if I struggle to get stronger you can bet I’ll get fitter and lighter, if my body weight drops it’s an automatic win lighter body same power means better power/weight ratio See more

22.01.2022 Potential never comes to us we have to work hard and make smart Choices to reach our POTENTIAL potential only ever moves away from us ... your sporting life is so short if your not working hard or the people around you don’t tell you to work hard and do not work Hard themselves your potential will escape you ....
21.01.2022 3 years ago wow I can still remember all the feelings the friendly Dutch guy the not so friendly French duo the American nudge in turn two wow that was a huge day Colombia was a beautiful place aswell
20.01.2022 Myself and Adam have been mixing up both Bmx and velodrome training and it’s turned up some interesting results both of us have been stepping up in velodrome and winning a few events and furthering our endurance and still working on developing power and in turn both of us have been in a pretty nice winning streak in Bmx too while our good mate Dean has been in a BMX only program and ripping up all over the place Dean is currently in a 5 race winning streak !!! We may be quiet on socials about everything we do but everything we can do is being done !!!
19.01.2022 love it when we sit down have a chat about racing performances and the should of / would of /could of scenarios .....then get to the real reason behind why.... ...seeing kids develop in riding is one thing as a coach that is great to see , but seeing them develop in confidence and find their own voice to me personally is extremely rewarding . 13.01.2022 Raining outside ??? No problem just figure our your max speeds and work to a percentage of that you can still keep your lap fitness in check if you have the right set up and mental approach training is so boring I hear a lot oh well your not going to fit in here good luck
12.01.2022 Another year along and another goal ticked off the list always a challenge but without that life would be pretty boring embrace the chase !!!
10.01.2022 Been pretty quiet in here for Awhile but things are starting to look interesting again my hands are getting a little better (still can’t ride properly) so I will get back on this page a bit pop back for updates soon ! Pop a wheelie while you wait !!!
07.01.2022 Training in winter usually means you got to change things up a bit rollers are boring but serve that purpose really well different speeds different drills offer different challenges to keep it interesting.... no hands ?.... ok if you have an even pedal stroke go for it

05.01.2022 Things have been pretty quiet on here for a while but that doesn’t mean we have not been working out butts off !!!
02.01.2022 Ok now the state titles are over for this year I would like to raise a concern I have with the superclass. During the races I witnessed two riders take pretty s...ubstantial head knocks over the weekend, my concern is not with the age of the riders not the speed they ride at or even the aggression needed to race in that class and get to the front (rubbing is racing if you don't want to rub elbows and trade paint, race age for trophies) my concern is about the protective gear the riders use, Armund was carried off the track as was Jack Davis. I have spoken to both riders after the crashes about head safety and even went as far as giving Jack my own personal motocross helmet to get used to for his return to racing and Armund has assured me he will get a motocross helmet for his return to racing. That makes me happy, they are both taking steps to increase safety My concern is if you are going to step into that class of racing you need to be pretty seriously pretty committed and pretty well protected if your going to be a mid pack rider you will get bumped / cut off / pushed wide in turns/ landed on & chopped straight out of the gate. In today's racing your all going faster with more jumps and tar turns (on most tracks) higher speeds = bigger mistakes & higher risks, at 14 years old you can match it down the hill with 20 plus year old riders, but if your bodyweight isn't equal to them you will lose a elbow war. I'm saying this to everyone in 14plus superclass from a guy that has been there invest in your brain, look around a lot of high end motocross helmets are not all that much heavier than a bmx or mtb specific helmet (around 200grams, the weight of a apple )but they offer more protection more comfort than any bmx/mtb helmet . Personally I have had more concussions more being KNOCKED OUT COLD than I care to remember some I still can't recall at all, I was the first guy in Australia to start running a MX helmet more than 10 years ago I have also crashed a lot since then but my "HEAVIER" (remember the apple) MX helmets have saved me a lot of damage and kept me out of hospital more than I can express in a message to all bmxer's in one message please consider this before the next race season maybe a cool new helmet for Christmas would be a SMART idea and an INVESTMENT in your brain !!! We are always going to crash it's the nature of the sport more and more "ELITE " class riders worldwide are opting for a MX helmet and knee / elbow protection even the current OLYMPIC BMX CHAMPION Connor Field uses a MX helmet and knee pads uber his race gear. My question to every rider and parent in BMX if the current worlds best racers are using this style of protection and they are the very best, why are people of a lower skill level not using the same gear? I started BMX racing in 1981 and have seen every change along the way and today's racing although isn't as rough it is on a more technical race track more jumps more speed tar turns clip pedals all add up to faster racing and bigger crashes when the do arise & they do.
