23.01.2022 The Variety Bash 2020 is almost underway and The Overtakers and their car CarSKET are all ready to go. They start in Kingscote on Saturday and 5 days later will arrive back in Glenelg after challenging some stunning South Australian landscape and supporting some amazing children along the way. Dave, Colin, Damien and Bodie want to say a huge thank you to all the generous companies and individuals who helped us to be the 2nd highest fundraisers this year raising almost $85,000 to support these deserving families. 01.01.2022 The Variety SA Bash has visited Kangaroo Island for the 2020 event, 'KI to the Capital'. Over $100k of grant funding has been presented along the route in Kings...cote and Parndana. These include: KI Calisthenics Club: Travel to Adelaide for the State Championships and uniforms - $6500 Stokes Bay Community Hall: A rebuild of the playground - $45,000 KI Community Education Campus Kingscote (KICE) School Playground - $27,500 KI Community Education Campus Parndana: School Playground - $27,500 Bendigo Bank, funded by the generous donors of the South Australian Bushfire Appeal, have contributed $50K, matched by Variety SA, to make these projects possible.
