24.01.2022 Every now and then ...Oh My Dog becomes Oh My Horse and I wash the odd horse ..just look at that shine and glow that coat has! Love the Equine Shampoo and Conditioner by Progroom. Well done Lisa and Addy #noicantplait
24.01.2022 Sometimes long time customers bring their new puppy sibling to learn about being groomed - early and very regular learning experiences in the salon are crucial for a happy dog with years of grooming ahead. Check out how calm, Daisys’ new puppy Iris, settled into her first grooming experience ...what a champ!
24.01.2022 Walter The Australian Terrier brought his friend Cecil the Aussie Red Heeler for a bath....Walter was most disappointed Cecil didn’t wait to chose the bandanas together....
23.01.2022 A post that is nothing to do with grooming! One of our clients has a wonderful selection Chrysanthemums for sale. They were headed for a chrysanthemums show and sale, but Covid19 happened... So available for purchase is some beautiful chryssies just in time for Mother’s Day! It’s win win really - stunning fresh blooms for Mother’s Day and then a lovely plant for the garden. Pots are just $5 cash only. First in best dressed. Pickup is from Oh My Dog. ... Fergie felt you would best appreciate the size if she was used as a model.....not only that, but she was just chuffed that none of this involved a bath!
22.01.2022 And just because we need more photos of puppies .....
21.01.2022 So I have a ball in the dog toy box...some furry clients love it more than the bath and pampering they get from me....like really really love it and HAVE to have it. Sometimes I hide it ......but that doesn’t deter Bella! Metric Fencing
20.01.2022 Edit! all spots are filled so...no paper work for me! #happydance Okey dokey people - it doesn’t happen often but we have spaces become available for washes today 11 am Today 12:30pm today ... 1:30pm Today I need to fill these spots or Sylvia will make me do paper work ...and we all know how much I love that!
19.01.2022 Okay I admit this is a British poster but the same information applies. Please take note of the first square - there is no evidence that dogs get sick from covid19 ...however they can transfer it on their fur. Whilst keeping your dogs clean is preferred ...please, please make sure you are brushing your dogs after a bath. Constant washing and failure to brush will result in horribly matted dogs, who will suffer the discomfort and pain of living with matting against their skin and also the very, very uncomfortable shaving to remove (think how it would feel to shave a bandaid off your arm-hair). Brush your dogs while you are in social distancing mode.
17.01.2022 Look out for Sylvia’s fabulous Halloween bandanas! Sometimes we just have to embrace the silly seasons cos ...well the fabric is tooooooo cute! And let’s face it...who could resist these two!
17.01.2022 Me okay Makani...now I need to take a photo of your beautiful eyes and nose...so dont lean into the camera like you usually do Makani okay ..like this?...or like this? Or like this? Me. Sigh....good thing I like black noses
14.01.2022 Good morning! Trevor would just like to make a Public Service Announcement ! It’s always flea season....but warm spring days mean those lil blood sucking, biting, itch inducing, worm carrying parasites will be thriving in your four legged friends. ... Please make sure that all pets are up to date with flea treatments. If your pets have fleas make sure you worm them as well. Yes fleas mean your pets will have worms - parasites carry their own parasites Also be sure that the flea treatment that you are using is correct for the weight of your dog or cat - it’s very easy to under dose or over dose. Use the warm days to give kennels and bedding a hot soapy wash and look forward to a flea free summer. Oh yeah ....a Trevor also makes us charge a $15 for a flea treatment and he is quite a stickler for the rules. #photo credit to Sylvia
13.01.2022 Oh Alfie! What a sweetie! And ridiculously photogenic! Megan Haddad
12.01.2022 Just a little heads up for people travelling in the holidays

12.01.2022 Yet again .....it’s not normal here...sigh ...
11.01.2022 Obviously things are a bit tricky in life at the moment, but for now we are here and open. We now do pet hand overs and payments outside - we have a cage available for contactless drop off. . All leads and collars will be washed as a part of our disinfecting routine using veterinary standard products. We still offer the option of card or cash (you get lovely disinfected change back). Your dogs and cats are still loved and cared for while they are with us. If you are in... quarantine or unwell don’t please don’t worry - contact us and we can reschedule your appointment for when you are better. While you are self isolating at home - take this time to brush your dog (all the way to the skin) and file or trim their nails. Walk your dogs regularly and make the most of having at least one person in the house be thrilled that you are working from home. Kind regards Naomi, Sylvia.
10.01.2022 The count down is on people! It’s nearly Xmas!!!
07.01.2022 Heads up lovley people! Bailey just wants your attention for a moment! It’s Kennel Cough season and we are starting to hear reports of it in the hills. ... If your dog has a cough and the sniffles please contact your vet - we will postpone your appointment until they are well again. Please also be aware that dogs that are fully immunised are still at risk of Kennel Cough. Bailey doesn’t have Kennel Cough but he is too cute not to share!
04.01.2022 But oh man....does Kelly know how to have her photo taken ...you betcha!
04.01.2022 It’s been a busy day - drinks couldn’t wait, so Leo joined us....dunno what it is about umbrellas, but they make every drink taste just that bit more fancy
03.01.2022 Who says short haired dogs don’t loose hair? Who says short haired dogs don’t need grooming? Who know you could get this much hair about of a short haired dog with just one grooming session. Remember regular grooming keeps shedding of hair down to a minimum! No more vacuuming and lint brushes ! Ragnar loves his deshed appointments ...so does his mum....
03.01.2022 Winstons mum was super social distancing organised today! Winston arrived with his money in a mesh bag, ready to go straight into the bathtub! Money laundering to the next level.
02.01.2022 So, good newsI saw a dog today. Buddy.
01.01.2022 Xmas is fast approaching - dog snaps from today plus a couple of pups that somehow missed the hydrobath and clippers
