23.01.2022 Ohana 'Ocean' Essence 10.02.18-11.02.21 Sad morning here at Ohana waking up to our last breeding texel sow growing her wings late last night. Another beauty of Jasens gone....... On Wednesday, on her 3rd birthday I was cleaning cages like normal when Ocean had a massive seizure right infront of my eyes. Another first for Ohana, despite efforts Ocean went downhill quite fast, to which I am actually thankful for as I could not bare to see her in pain. ... With only 1 breeding texel remaining here, Ohana Creed (boar), it being my absolute fave breed and pregnancies being rare I am not sure what my options are with everyone else being sheltie....it is what it is, such is life. RIP my love Ohana 'Ocean' Essence (baby pic)

23.01.2022 its a boar and a sheltie (grrrrrr) but he is alive and well, congrats Tigerlily and Xhibit! In 2 years we have had only 5 litters including this one, 4 have been singleton litters and out of the 7 babies born in total we have sadly lost all 3 sows and a boar! The survivors are Xhibit (born to Escada and Jasen in Jan 2019) and Abracadabra (born to Honor and Xhibit in Nov 2019 sole survivor of a litter of 3) and now this guy! All Ohana parents..... Now there is some stats for you, we shall see how this boar grows in the meantime....no one else expecting here but 5 days into 2021 it is a start.

22.01.2022 a sad post but this guy deserves the love. Yesterday we said goodbye to Araminta Jasen, who was a month off turning 5 years old. He lived a full healthy life and this is a shock. Jasen was honestly the most gorgeous cavy I have owned inside and out. It is a huge loss here, he was my best stud boar. I sadly lost his texel son last year who I had also retained, but I do have a few of his adult offspring here to live on. Will miss you buddy! Thank you to Kerrie Stuart Jones for letting me have Jasen all those years ago. I am sorry.

18.01.2022 think it may be time to call it quits....I realised I had not had a litter all year but had a sow expecting, this afternoon at 2.10pm a beautiful 120g sheltie sow was born. She seemed totally healthy and the labour was perfect, my youngest daughter was so happy to meet her and we soon realised once getting home from school that something was not quite right ....baby passed away just after 4pm! Think I have experienced it all now. RIP little darling.

06.01.2022 still around guys, honestly not sure how long for. Have had a run of bad luck this year with life in general. We have also not had a litter since January! Until last night! Post is coming, will spare the yucky details but fill you in on the two miracle princes I have sitting beside me and a bit about their journey into the world very soon, cannot believe they made it
