05.02.2022 Caladium sale update Unfortunately due to a savage suspected bush chook ambush on the little caladiums I had growing in the $5 teaser pots today, I am going to have to unfortunately postpone the November sale that I had planned. So sorry everyone that's been looking forward to this. I've got home from work today to absolute chaos and will try to find and repot all the little caladiums. Hopefully I can salvage the majority of them and start again.

24.01.2022 SOLD One Red Lion Hippeastrum available for sale $35. In bud and ready to open. Flower stalk currently has 4 buds but can only see the two from this pic angle. Pick up today feom Nakara after 4. The flowers will start to open tomorrow and will look like the second pic attached below. Pm if interested. Has been posted to other sites. Cheers

21.01.2022 Mixed Gladioli planting stock yes they do grow and flower here with some care. This lot will be planted out over the weekend and will be sold as established plants in time for Christmas

20.01.2022 Zantedeshias! Calla lillies will be available soon. I have some lovely Florex Gold and Black Magic that will brighten up any pot, garden or vase. Surprisingly easy to grow, these make amazing cut flowers due to their long flowering life and do not generally require too much attention. Proper planting and location are about the only important things to consider when growing calla lilies. They need to be planted in loose, well-drained soil in part shade and watered moderately.... That's it! They also multiply quite easily so one plant will make offsets and give u several in a short amount of time. I will post when they are available to purchase so no holds or reserves on these at the moment. They will be sold as potted and growing plants $20 each.

16.01.2022 SPRING SEASON BULBS ARRIVING APRIL **PRE ORDERS AVAILABLE FOR TULIPS ONLY** TULIPS any 3 for $12... Variety of gorgoeus tulips, hyacinth, freesia, allium and more due to arrive late Feb early March2021 and available for planting from April ready for our Dry season. Darwin tulips and single late tulips are suited to our dry season weather and will flower beautifully as ANNUALS only. Meaning these bulbs once they complete their flowering cycle that's the end of them and they will not re flower the following season as they would down south. Treat them like a firework I always say...they put on a big show with a bang and then they are done. Hyacinths with some care and lifting when dormant will re flower the following season as will freesias. Freesias self seed readily so they will pop up on their own. Alliums ! What can I say but wow. If you have seen the beautiful fireball Lilly/blood Lilly (Scadoxus) which is bright red and a huge ball, well these are a vivid purple grapefruit sized flowering garlic variety called Purple Rain and they are sexy AF! Perfect for adding height and dimension to the back of garden beds and also make lovely cut flowers due to their long stems.

16.01.2022 Not for sale. Sharing one from my private collection. This is double hippeastrum Double Dream and is one of my all time favourite hippies I have had for the last 5 years. Short flower scape on it this year as I cut it last year to bring indoors to enjoy as a cut flower. While I am not selling this variety I will be selling some double hippeastrums next year when they are in season again and I get my stock order in from my new suppliers

09.01.2022 Purple Calla Lilly Picasso beginning to unfurl. Beautiful royal purple on the inside with a white lip. Leaves are a lovely spotted feature on their own but not showing in these pics. Will have some of these available next season. This is my tester plant to make sure they will grow up here

08.01.2022 So who's coming to the lillium bulb sale today? Today only between 1.30-4pm this is all that's left until next year of the bulbs. Also have a few selected lilliums and hippeastrums in flower ready to go as well as some small caladiums. Be quick they have already gone fast in the presales. NO HOLDS or Reserve so please do not ask. These need to be planted asap as they are bare bulbs. I've already been burned by people i held for that have repeatedly not shown to collect so h...ope you are understanding of my position on it. Cash only please as I'm not set up yet for card. Hope you are happy with them and please feel free to share pics once they flower All the lillium bulbs are now sold but I'll have a few flowering varieties ready to go in a couple of weeks. Starting to flower now but not quite ready for the sale bench yet will make lovely Christmas gifts tho!
