17.01.2022 My name is Ryan. I’ve been thinking for a while now about what I want to be. Who I want to be. I scroll through my feed and see so many amazing photographers and content creators producing beautiful work and I’m conflicted. On one hand I’m inspired to create my own works, get out with my camera and capture something. On the other, I tell myself I’ll never be as good as those people so what’s the point of taking photos if there are better shots out there? Unfortunately the lat...ter overpowers the former and I’m left feeling worthless and my camera remains on the shelf, untouched. However, I took some time to look through some of the photos I’ve taken over the years and it made me happy. It’s as though I was looking at them with new eyes and I was able to see the beauty in my work. I felt inspired to go and take more shots because I know that I can be proud of the images I take. It was strange, but in my heart I know that God’s looking out for me and was giving me a little push to get back out there. I’ve got the best friends, family, partner and God supporting and cheering for me, so I hope to be getting out with my camera more and posting more regularly. 13.01.2022 Very proud to share this video I produced for QUT Business School alongside Jacob Pratt! Had a great time putting it together and super happy with the final result :)
