20.01.2022 Okay so since we are self isolating due to my asthma, I am going to start making soak a ways for all the windows sills in the house. Should have plenty of time to achieve it for all the windows prior to winter arriving. I hope everyone that can be home is home and staying safe. Take care Helen.

18.01.2022 We are very busy at the moment with replacement upholstery for caravans and curtains. So now the summer is over it's time to think about getting the caravan furniture sorted for next year. Will post photos of recent work tomorrow.

18.01.2022 Its liner time!!! 10 cushions all needing liners before the new covers are made for an outside lounge restoration. We love restoring lounge suites. 17.01.2022 So happy. New tote bag design just finished. Absolutely love the colour combinations. Hopefully there will be a matching purse to go with it.

15.01.2022 When you take a zip out of a pair of broken jeans to fix another pair of jeans and you find this beautiful fabric in the waist band. Now what can I reuse this for?

10.01.2022 The next design to come out of the OhSewPretty craft room. A hand/shoulder strap carry bag for a folding bicycle. Design almost completed so just a couple of things to check with the customer and then full steam ahead. Needs completing by Wednesday. So no pressure then!!! Another couple of late nights me thinks.

08.01.2022 Okay time to start paying it forward. I am currently trying to source filter fabric to place inside cotton face masks that I am going to start producing and giving away to elderly and vulnerable people in the community. If anyone knows where I can source the filter fabric, or has a supply of tight weave cotton fabric then please let me know. Cheers Helen.

06.01.2022 Cushion time again. Love making new covers for caravan cushions. It's great to see how much of a difference new covers can make. Will show you more when I get further along.

06.01.2022 Well very happy with these unpaper towels. They hold to the roll beautifully and are quick to wipe up spills. Then just put them in the wash with your tea towels. They come in a choice of designs with either white or black stitching. $15:00 for pk of 8.

04.01.2022 Have made first mask with oddments. Have managed to make a pocket for a filter fabric to be inserted as well. Will test it tomorrow against one that I purchased for severe Asthma and Allergies and will let you know how it feels. If you know anyone at all who would like one then I will be happy to make them one at no cost while my fabric supply is available. Please remember that these are not professional masks, they are not a replacement social distancing and hand washing.

03.01.2022 Another very happy customer. These cushions were in much need of attention. With a new liner to firm up the foam and beautiful baby blue fabric this lounge is going to look amazing for years to come.

Still to come curtains, living area cushions and beds also need to be re upholstered to bring this caravan up to date. 03.01.2022 Sorry it has been a while since I posted, but it has been so busy here. Lots of alterations being carried out at the moment and replacement zippers, so if you need anything altering then just give me a call. Will soon be starting on new summer skirts designs so will up load the photos as we go.

01.01.2022 Another beautiful cushion made this week for a lady. This time for a bench seat. Fully lined and zipper in back panel so the cushion can be flipped and washed as needed. We do love upholstery work.

01.01.2022 Fed up of search for paper towels and then paying a lot for them only to be thrown away? I certainly am. So tomorrow's job is to make some unpaper towels. 1ply flanelette fabric , or flanelette and terry towelling fabrics joined together make a fantastic replacement for paper towel and can easily be thrown into the wash with the towels next time you do a load. What makes these items even better is you can store them on a roll, just like paper towels as the static holds them together. Means you will always have clean towels to mops up spills and they won' t break on you! If you are interested then please let me know.
