25.01.2022 7C Students actively participating in Japanese class this week
24.01.2022 8B students finished the term by attending an ‘urbanisation conference’. They presented their geography work and browsed exhibits from their classmates as well as exhibits from 8C students who completed the same culminating project. Congrats to Taylor who won the lucky door prize!
22.01.2022 Due to wet weather we had to cancel the planned New Town and Ogilvie sports afternoon for Year 7. A big thank you to Mr Sweeney and the New Town crew for still cooking our BBQ lunch and offering to serve our Year 7 students. We will re-schedule the event for Term 4. 12.01.2022 This week some of our budding young scientists participated in the annual STEM challenge held at City Hall. They worked in groups to develop solutions for the challenges that were set, such as building their own robotic hand capable of picking up small objects, designing hovercrafts and structures that withstand the impact of earthquakes. It was great day of creative problem solving and thinking outside the square with everything from robotics, engineering to communications.
12.01.2022 Grade 9 students have presented exhibitions of learning for their recent World War One module. Each student chose a topic to study and presented their research as a model, poster or other creative piece.

08.01.2022 Some year 6 students, including the younger sisters of students already attending OHS, came to visit today to speak with staff and students about learning in a high school setting. The students are all looking forward to our Orientation Day next Wednesday where we look forward to seeing all of our Year 7 2021 students.

03.01.2022 Uniform update We are experiencing delivery delays on the school trackpants. Qkr does indicate that they are available, however this is not the case. We expect delivery of this stock mid to late October and will advise parents when it arrives.
