22.01.2022 Some of you may find this post confronting that’s ok- it’s your choice to continue reading. This is the only place I have known to come to, - to wish my dad a Happy Birthday - I just need somewhere to come to - then I feel like I have celebrated it. I know he’s with me often, in my mind, in my heart, in my children and watching over us. ... When it’s silent and I look outside at the trees- I know you loved the earth, & nature was your home. When I hear a certain song I’m taken back to a moment so long ago. The most ANAZING thing to me is you have taught me through my children - Dad. I was so little when you left this earth, that I needed to find a space to come and be near you. Where you are layed to rest makes sense to me. I often chat to you,vent my worries, if I’m heading in the right direction or what the heck is all this! It’s a beautiful sunny day, I know for sure if you where on this earth we would get together for a drink, food and no doubt a dance. Music and dancing bought you so much joy to you. So even though your not here for me to make a fuss - I will be out with friends this afternoon - Saturday night - like so many Saturday nights you celebrated with family & friends. 16.01.2022 So now I sit for 10mins, then I’m off and racing again. I’m not sure I would have it any other way. Over the last few days I’ve been helping Ashleigh and her amazing support team organise more of her schedules towards independence Can you imagine setting your days up in pictures - so you knew what to do, where to go, how to get there and at times how to express yourself? Who your seeing? And on! ... I know I truely couldn’t! Our brain is truely an amazing filing cabinet, of focus, organising, emotions, movement, expression and doing life. I couldn’t plan what’s in my mind down in pictures, I’m in ore of how this amazing communication tool helps so many, to cope and be part of the communicate. I love organising, and knowing what’s happening, I can change or add another activity at the drop of a hat - and re schedule in my mind so quick. HOWEVER looking at the task ahead yesterday overwhelmed me, to put these pictures into different piles was WOW to much. Thank you Dree, Helen and Abbey for starting the process. I’m so blessed to learn from so many amazing people, listen to other ways, and my true inspiration and learning tools has been Ashleigh - my first born and then Chloe in such a different form, to keep my mind ticking to see what else I need to learn. I have 2 beautiful daughters and so unique and their own spark they give this earth. Thank you for choosing me to be your mum, and looking at other organisation tools.

01.01.2022 HOPE Hope Optimiatic state of mind Particular thing to happen... Expectation of positive outcomes. I saw the quote below a few days ago and it got me thinking about how we get to were we are right now. I’ve been pondering the word HOPE because for as long as I can remember, that word has always been a huge part of my life. I keep thinking why? How did I come to having HOPE: my earliest memory was as a 7 year old thinking life will get better one day. That was the start of my HOPE. Some how I kept believing in that hope through my teenager years Keeping my mind optimistic, when another part of me kept saying this is too hard. Then into adult I just knew I had to make the decision, to talk, to share stories and make MY core value of expecting positive outcomes, keeping my mind optimistic and keep on going for that better life. Like as all, we are challenged everyday with life and what we are given. I believe my strength in HOPE is what keeps me going every day, seeing the positive change in those around me and having the most amazing people in my life that share, and support me and in turn we support each other. I remember someone saying to me once it’s doesn’t matter how many times you go down, it’s how fast you get back up and keep on going. Share your story as it connects us all. Support & Love Kathleen
