18.01.2022 It is all over the news - a massive cyber attack is underway that could affect anyone running non-patched Windows systems. Particularly at risk are computers running Windows XP or Windows Vista as no patch was released for them. If you are still running either of those really old versions then it is time to look at a new system immediately. Make sure your Windows Updates are fully up-to-date and you have good backups on an external drive that is disconnected. Speak to us if you need help with any of these IT issues.

17.01.2022 Timelapse of a Christmas Present Gaming Build for the son of a business customer. We hope Santa brings you something awesome like this! Have a great break - We are only closed on the Weekends and Public Holidays so if you need IT Support over the Xmas/New Year break let us know!

11.01.2022 Make sure you have windows updates turned on for your machine to patch against this latest virus that attacks all versions of Microsoft Word. Also don't go opening a email attachment containing a scan document that you don't recognize. Even if it looks like a harmless .doc file.

09.01.2022 Another crypto malware attack. This one is particularly nasty as it affects the entire hard drive. Spreads very fast through internal networks using a few different methods. Make sure you have recent backups!

02.01.2022 Just a note to always be vigilant when going through your emails. This one appeared today appearing to be from ASIC (the companies register). The senders address was listed as [email protected] - an unsuspecting person might not realise this looks like a scam. Notice that it is not .gov.au but .gov.com. The Renewal link in the email goes to a non ASIC site and downloads a word document containing malware. All the other links go to ASIC sites just to be sneaky. Always roll over the link and see where it is going before clicking. If in doubt ask your IT provider. Happy surfing!
