05.01.2022 OKD Accountants & Finance Brokers are looking for a fulltime/part time bookkeeper/assistant accountant to join our practice and provide internal support to our accountants and our finance & mortgage broker. You will work closely with a large variety of clients in the SME space. This role requires a confident person who can work anatomically with minimal supervision and the ability to meet weekly & monthly KPI’s. You will be self-motivated and ready to be a part of a close... nit team. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to; Weekly/Monthly & Quarterly bookkeeping duties Accounts Receivable/Payable Bank reconciliations Payroll processing with STP Monthly/Quarterly PAYG & superannuation reconciliation and reporting Monthly/Quarterly financial reporting Assisting in the preparation of Instalment & Business Activity Statements Finance serviceability processing and file preparation Assisting with Audit Preparation of SMSF’s and liaising with external Auditor Maintain internal electronic files & data records Skills and Experience; Knowledge and experience with Xero & MYOB, with a requirement to undertake regular CPD Understanding of basic accounting practices Proficiency with Excel, Word & Email software The ability to work autonomously but also operate as part of a team. Excellent communication skills both verbal & written High level of attention to detail, and the ability to check your own work Ability to manage and meet strict time sensitive deadlines Experience with managing multiple clients and the ability to multi-task Demonstrated time management skills Education & Remuneration; Minimum requirement is a Certificate IV Bookkeeping.
