I help develop our stories and concepts from pre-production through to production and then into post. I’m usually working in the office or out on set directing a shoot which I love. Last year I also managed the marketing, sponsorship and PR for Pride WA which was an exciting new project for me and OKMG.... Who/What is one company or individual you admire and why? Hugh Jackman has always been a hero of mine. He's an Aussie, studied in Perth, took the world by storm and has remained a humble and all round good guy! He’s an activist and uses his celebrity for all the right reasons. As a performer he’s amazing too, sings, dances and plays Wolverine, that’s one hell of a triple threat. What do you love most about your job? I love that my job has me active and outside a lot. I enjoy working on set and meeting new people, conducting interviews and learning about so many different things for our projects. Hubspot recently conducted a survey of 400 customers to find out what people are looking for, here are the top 3 motivations behind a sign up: 1. Money... No real surprise here of course, people are looking for a promo deal or offer. Now from a business perspective, this can be as a sign up reward or just for the customers benefit. As an example, dont forget that many business have just increased prices to show Unbelievable Savings with their EOFY sale. An implied benefit is more valuable to you as a business because you can make the same revenue with a customer that perceives theyve got a great deal. 2. Brand Content Almost as many people chose consume brand content as save money in this poll, which is really saying something, trust your brand voice and mission and let customers buy into that rather than just your goods and services. So dont forget to be including branded content and educational pieces into your emails rather than just spamming discount codes and specials. 3. Knowledge The third highest reason was customers wanting to be knowledgeable about the product range and benefits, which ties into the second reason as well. Our suggestion would be to think of this more as I am confident this purchase is worth it which is the most important barrier to cross. So the key takeaway is; Educate your customers on who you are, what you offer and how it will help them. Ideally, give them a "discount" on it as well.
