13.01.2022 The last surf the Oldfartsurfer had before the COVID-19 lock down. Small but nice, had the peak to himself because, unbeknown to him, the beach had been closed the day before!

13.01.2022 The Oldfartsurfer saw this fantastic photo titled Beauty and the Beast in Surfer magazine in 1972. He bought the poster and glued it to a bit of cardboard and stuck it to the bedroom wall. However, it now looks a bit scrappy. The photographer is a guy called Steve Wilkins. It is believed he moved from surf photography to windsurfing photos when that trend started in the late 70s or early 80s. Weve tried to find a replacement but havent been able to find one on the internet so it is posted here for posterity.
