20.01.2022 We have had a great day celebrating Zany, Weird and Wild Day. We have raised $710 for Bear Cottage! The girls in 3/4N and 3/4MB even made items for a market stall to help raise more funds during their lunch time. Amazing girls! Thank you to everyone who dressed up and donated to support this wonderful organisation.

16.01.2022 Last Friday, we had a visit from Lisa Muir our newly appointed Executive Director of Public Schools NSW and Rick Clissold our area Director of Education. Mrs Scanes and our school leaders accompanied Ms Muir and Mr Clissold on a tour of our wonderful school. The school leaders greeted Ms Muir and Mr Clissold in Gathang which impressed them greatly. They were also very impressed with our school uniform design and what lovely students we had to keep the school grounds so clean.

12.01.2022 Recently Stage 3 students participated in the Newcastle Permanent Primary Mathematics Competition. A huge congratulations to the students who received merit and distinction awards.

07.01.2022 Tomorrow is our Zany, Weird and Wonderful Day! We invite students to wear their weirdest or brightest outfits and/or style their hair in zany colours. Please join us in supporting Bear Cottage by giving a $2 (or more) donation. Bear cottage do an amazing job at supporting children with life limiting or terminal illnesses.

06.01.2022 Year 2 are having a great time at Nabiac pool. Week 1 of intensive swimming is almost complete. The children are making excellent progress

05.01.2022 Earlier in the year Noah entered the 2020 STANSW Young Scientist Paper Plane Challenge. He flew his plane in the Airtime category for Year 4 students. Noah recently found out he achieved tenth place in the state with his Eagle plane. The Eagle had a hangtime of 5:30 seconds. Well Done Noah!
