03.01.2022 Hello babies! We have just welcomed a pair of the classic BBC-designed Coles 4038 ribbon mics into the studio. These English-built mics were originally designed by the BBC in the early 1950s as their main broadcast recording microphones. The design is still unchanged to this day, and widely regarded as amongst the best drum recording mics ever made too (and also fab on many, many other things!)
