11.02.2022 A big weekend for the whole Oldbury Team and sponsored riders. A massive congratulations to Oldbury sponsored rider Kate Joyce who won the Grand Prix. Kate has been working very closely with Dr Michael Harwood Dr Warwick Vale and clinic remedial farrier Kim Broad to ensure this horse has maintained its fitness and soundness through the whole season and this result is a reflection of the incredible work and dedication we have all seen her put in. Not leaving one stone unturne...d to ensure she always get the best out of him while always focussed on his welfare. We as a team take great delight in working closely with all our sponsored riders and all our clients, accompanying them on their competition journeys and enjoying their success while watching from the side lines. Well done Kate A big thank you to the whole Equestrian In The Park team for putting on such a fabulous event once again, looking after our whole clinic team so well and ensuring all the horses were safe out there with a highly technical but well thought out course. A pleasure to watch ! And lastly Dr Tory Kö-Peternelj who was picked for the fashions in the field line up. Well done Dr !! Credit to Wayne Edwards and Vicki Tapper for the great event photos . 12.01.2022 Dr Mike has been busy this week by not only a vast number of sand colics but also equine dentist Mick Fields nomination for the 25 press up challenge. Dr Mike was more than happy to take on the challenge believing any way to acknowledge and improve the recognition of mental health issues and how common they are in today’s society is a good thing. The vet profession itself being particularly affected by this due to the long working hours, continual daily stresses of the job, ongoing battles with bad debtors and pressures of treating families treasured pets ailments daily. Please remember to check in with your friends , the smallest how are you today makes all the difference https://youtu.be/iOEt1VIawXY

10.01.2022 This little cutie kept Dr Liz and Dr Mike on their toes on the weekend and today kept nurses Nicole and Abby very busy. After sadly losing its mother nearly 2 weeks ago to colic the foal had struggled taking to the bottle and had exhausted itself trying to drink off an older mare at its home. Dr Liz intervened just in the nick of time. With some much needed IV fluids, TLC and encouragement to drink milk replacer from a bowl the little battler has bounced back and delighted all our staff and owners. Well done Dr Liz
