09.01.2022 They say if you drive all the way to the southern end of the Margaret River Region you'll find gold. Whether it's a pot of gold, a golden photo or a gold medal ...for making it to the top of Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse we're not too sure but you'll be a winner either way! This beautiful capture by @dwausphotos (via IG) is classic autumn light in the south west, "the season of rainbows" some even call it. Stunning! Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is open to the public from 8:45am to 5pm daily (last precinct entry at 4:30pm) and guided tours run every half hour from 9am to 4:30pm. So what are you waiting for? Go find that treasure!

09.01.2022 If there's one thing that comes to mind when you think of the cooler months in the Margaret River Region it's got to be mouth watering, stomach satisfying plate...s of beautifully prepared share food. This divine looking "Full Farmily" platter served at the Beerfarm in Metricup is a hero feature of their Smokin' Saturdays put on by Burnt ends smoking co. It's an absolute banger of a dish to share between 4-6 people according to Take me to foodie heaven. and we're going to take their word for it! Those smokey ribs and delicious golden croquettes have us drooling over our phone screens. We might just have to make a stop in at the ranch on the way past.. See more
