22.01.2022 Old gold motorcycles 2021 !!! Just arrived half of an air cooled Yamaha twin shipment has finally arrived !!! More late next week,complete 1972 DS7 250 and RD 250 350 and 400 parts as well !!! Also a mostly complete RX125 and a spiked wheel R80/7 BMW project due shortly !!!! 16.01.2022 Old Gold motorcycles is closing the doors effective Wednesday 30 th June 2021 !!! Without a suitable buyer for the business this was Steve’s only option !!!! Up until that date Steve will be working 6 days a week(no sundays) until 30/6/2021 !!!! Note Visits by appointment only during this period !!! We will continue trading in a limited capacity through our online EBay store after the 30th June !!! Steve is taking July off to go to cape York on his bike and then returning to ...gear up for a massive closing down sale probably late September 2021 !!! Note any interested parties in the huge amount of bikes,parts,tools,equipment etc etc either the whole inventory or by model job lot(parts) contact Steve early August to arrange an inspection on 0423 096447 or 02 45 742885 !!! It’s been a great adventure but at 66+ it’s time to slow down,smell the roses,treat Mrs Gold and the family with some quality time,and ride some bikes !!!! 11.01.2022 Old gold motorcycles 2021 !!! Our 1980 Z1300 race bike has finally been taken to a public weighbridge and the truth is out!!! Standard dry weight for a Z1300 is 297kg,our race bike is 260kg !!!!!!!! Hope our upcoming chain drive conversion knocks some more kilos off ?!?!?!? Mario the magician from Ricci engineering has been hard work getting this chain drive conversion(built by an Australian back in 1978) ready for the transplant to our racebike !!!!!
