22.01.2022 Pirate Reverse Draw 7pm tonight Follow the Zoom link below and Good Luck to all. We can’t wait to see everyone. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89780029759

22.01.2022 OPFC is thrilled to welcome Liam McWilliams to the club for season 2021 and beyond. An old boy of the school and, with plenty of mates at the club, he’s excited to be a part of what the Club is building. With elite skills, great hands for his size, and plenty of X factor, this young gun will be keeping opposition defenders up at night.

19.01.2022 We’re very proud of Pirate Tory Taylor who is living out his dream of becoming a punter in America! Not long now til we can see the big fella kicking for Iowa Hawkeyes. All the best Scooter...the Pirate community is right behind you! Oh...and happy birthday too

17.01.2022 Dear Pirate Community, As you may have seen in our recent email to supporters, we have armed the playing group with the below flyer. Each player, who is willing and able to help, can fill out their details, specify how they can assist those in need, and drop it off in the letterboxes of neighbours. This lets the recipient know that they are in a Pirate neighbourhood and part of our community.... If you don’t receive one and need some help, please private message the Pirates Facebook page or email us ([email protected]). We hope to hear from you soon. Pirates.

15.01.2022 We've cracked the Top 100!! And already brought in nearly $1000 for the club. What an awesome effort in less than 24 hours. But lets keep sharing and see how high we can get.

14.01.2022 Ahoy there Pirates!! With the current season in limbo at the moment as a result of COVID -19, as a club we still have to continue fundraising as we have fixed costs regardless of how long our season may be. We have entered into the Toyota Good for Footy Raffle as a way to assist in covering some of these costs for the season, so for just $5 per ticket, you have the chance to win one of 3 Toyota vehicles. But the best part is that all of the money raised goes straight to our c...lub!! HOW GOOD IS THAT!!? To purchase tickets, please click the following link. It would be great if we could all share the post because as you can see from the leaderboard below, some clubs are raising some serious funds to go towards the season. https://toyotagoodforfooty.raffletix.com.au/oldpeninsula

13.01.2022 OPFC is excited to announce another recruit for the 2021 season, Flynn Holt. Flynn is a Mornington Peninsula local who has played Junior and Senior football at Sorrento and Rosebud. Standing at 196cm and known for his (controlled...) aggression, he’s set to sure up our ruck stocks!... He is keen on a massive preseason, and we’re even more excited to see him in the Blue and Tan!! Welcome Flynn.

09.01.2022 A wonderful story about a family who means so much to the fabric of our Club! Read their story and wait for PA's tip tomorrow morning in the comments. For those who don't know, PA is a former dual B&F and six time captain, but more importantly, an Equine Vet who worked on Black Caviar in her heyday! We look forward to his tip!!!

07.01.2022 The Old Peninsula Football Club are delighted to welcome new recruit Patrick Travers to the football club for season 2021. He will be joined by his wife Mim and his boys Jack & Tommy who are also looking forward to being part of our club. A former player in the WAFL for Peel & East Perth - we look forward to the experience that he will bring to our young group. Welcome aboard!!

07.01.2022 The Old Peninsula Football Club pursues the overarching goal to create and maintain a sustainable club that is renowned for its positive culture, community integration and values based standards. In reviewing the structure of the Football Department for the 2021 season we are seeking Expressions of Interest for a number of coaching support roles. This is an exciting time for the club in its preparation for football post COVID and we would welcome your interest and subsequent conversation if you think you would like to be part of the wave of momentum.

05.01.2022 The momentum keeps building towards season 2021 for OPFC!! We’re excited to confirm that Gussy Groves has committed to the Pirates for next year. Guss is a big bodied utility who generated plenty of excitement among both players and coaches this pre-season. We cannot wait to see him run around in the blue and tan for the first time.... Grovesy has an existing connection to the Pirates, being a class of ‘13 alumni at Peninsula Grammar - where he excelled on the sporting field. Away from footy, Guss is the head trainer at The Renovator - Port Melbourne, having a great passion for all things health and fitness. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to prepare for our assault on 2021. #GoPirates

02.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we pass on our heartfelt condolences to the McIlwraith family on the passing of Louise McIlwraith. Wife to former Senior Coach Brett and Mother to Sam and Jackson, Louise’s long battle with Breast Cancer sadly ended over the weekend having first been diagnosed in 2013. For those who knew Lou, I’m sure you will agree that she was an unbelievable person and one of the kindest and warmest people that you could ever hope to meet. She will be sadly mi...ssed by the Pirate community. Lou was a fighter who fought a strong battle whilst also raising awareness of this cruel disease. The following page has been created both in memory of Lou, but to also give people the opportunity to donate to the Love your Sister foundation, a charity of which Lou was very passionate. We understand that times are tough at present, but we encourage those who can to make a donation (however big or small that may be) in memory of Lou and her brave battle. Rest in Peace Lou XX https://lys-fundies.giveeasy.org/c/in-loving-memory-of-lou/
