22.01.2022 Dear Luka’s customers, Just a quick message to say Thankyou for a yet another busy Friday! We understand some of you are trying to get through on the phones or in store and we are unable to take any orders after a certain time, just a reminder that sometimes we are simply too busy to keep up with the high demand of orders. ... We have to stop orders at a certain time to ensure we have adequate stock and are able to complete the orders we have ( which are in most cases backed up till closing time) Since COVID-19 we are one of the only fish and chips shops in our area still open! We are trying as best we can to cater to everyone however this simply isn’t always the case. We are a small family run shop, with limited stock storage space and although we continue to order/prep more on a weekly basis it’s not always enough. Majority of customers are absolutely lovely and are understanding and we can’t Thankyou enough! We have been copping a lot of backlash for closing early some evenings and people not being able to get their orders in and we understand that can be frustrating, however if we can’t get your orders in we really do apologise and hope to see you another time! There is plenty of other delicious food choices in palmie in the meantime

Just like all our battered products...it’s a time consuming process which means we can unfortunately run out from time to time, especially during our busy periods! Our batter is made from scratch, just plain old flour and water! Deep fried in traditional tallow! ...
