BUT today I had a really exciting interview where I needed to make sure I used ALL the words. Both sensically and articulately, so I brought out the big guns. Finding age appropriate activities that Miss 5 and Mstr 13 can both do and enjoy is pretty tough. And stressful. Being a broody teen, he doesnt want to be involved in much outside of his launchpad and his laptop. Miss 4 isnt really into structured learning and I find it hard to engage her for any period of time to teach her things, so I spend hours online to get fun ideas. Some are massive fails and some seem to work... like these magnets. Today we wrote the letters of the alphabet on the tiles in whiteboard marker and mixed them up. She then had to put them in alphabetical order. ... I wrote the upper on one side and lowercase on the other and faced them lower up. shes not confident with the lower, so it made it more of a challenge. We got half way through before she said she was done, but we persevered and got through. She was then promptly done with the magnets when I suggested numbers Any mamas with kindy age kids at home have suggestions for play based learning? Please help?!
