Five amazing Catholic Schools working together to celebrate 200 years of Catholic Education in Australia, especially in rural remote Victoria and putting our small schools on the map. What a great achievement and a fun day had by all schools. Full credit to OLHC Murtoa, St Pat's Nhill, St Malachy's Edenhope, St Joseph's Coleraine and Sacred Heart Casterton. Enjoy the video of our day - certainly proud to say that I belong to a great scho...ol in Murtoa and I'm very proud of our achievements and our student outcomes! Bring on the next 200 years! 16.01.2022 Today our senior students & staff took to the streets of Murtoa on bikes. It was an amazing day & students put all their bike education theory into practice. Places visited were: The Historic Water Tower The Murtoa Railway Museum Rabl Park Lake Marma... The ride finished with a BBQ lunch at the Rotunda at the lake & a Slushy each from Foodworks. Thank you to Nav & Raj for their kind donation for our students.

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is PJ Day....don’t forget to wear your pyjamas & slippers to school. Yes staff are wearing their PJs too! Everyone knows that PJs have the power of S.L.E.E.P. (Super Large and Epic Emotion of Power). You don’t? This is what S.L.E.E.P. does: every time you wear PJs you get a surge of power. Students may bring a change of coloured clothes & runners for our fun day Friday activities. What a great way to end the week!

12.01.2022 Don’t forget to get your copy of the next edition of Murtoa Advertiser - many celebratory stories. Kaden what an amazing achievement!

11.01.2022 Make sure you all get your copy of this weeks Murtoa Advertiser on Thursday and read about our school and how happy our students were returning to school. We have had a fabulous start to term 4 and everyone has been so excited to be back together as one. We are so proud of what our school offered our students during remote learning and even better what we have in place for Term 4. After all - it’s all about our students wellbeing and learning and getting ready to transition into 2021.

08.01.2022 Mission Walkathon experience for all of us to feel what it’s like for some children overseas to walk a distance to have their basic needs met. It also gave us an opportunity to take the time to appreciate our amazing & beautiful part of creation that is our Murtoa Community. Very powerful experience of us together as one understanding what we are thankful for and how we might reach out to help others in our local community and globally.
