19.01.2022 Crazy Hair and Casual Clothes What a fantastic way to celebrate a great term of learning, growing and loving like Jesus. We are extremely proud of all our children for their focus on learning this term and the way in which they continue to rise to the high standards we are achieving as a school. There is such an amazing feeling in our parish school with a strong sense of belonging and community. Jesus is truly alive and present in our school community.... I would also like to thank our incredibly talented staff for everything that they do for our children. They are prepared to do whatever it takes for each and every child in our school. I am extremely proud and lucky to be part of such an amazing team. I wish everyone a safe and relaxing holiday and we look forward to seeing you again in Term 4, commencing on Tuesday 13th October. Have a great break Michael

13.01.2022 World Teacher’s Day Today we celebrate that it takes a village to raise our children. You may teach as a parent, canteen helper, cleaner, classroom teacher, teacher aide, grandparent, after school care or be the smiling face at the front office. No matter what your role, we appreciate everything you do for our children at OLHC. I have the privilege of spending my days with these guys. Most amazing team ever. #luckiest principal

06.01.2022 Proclaim Lismore Staff Tomorrow our staff will continue their faith journey in what it means to work, teach and lead in our Catholic Schools. Schools where everyone is welcome and personally called to Discipleship as we strive to live out the Gospel message. We celebrate 200 years of Catholic Education in Australia and we acknowledge the hard work and dedication of many Priests, Bishops, Religious and lay people who built our school systems into what it is today.... Tomorrow, we remember why we were called to Discipleship, why we were called to our vocation of teaching in a Catholic school.

02.01.2022 Today we celebrated NAIDOC Week at OLHC. NAIDOC week is a time to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. It is also a time to celebrate together and a time to learn and share experiences and knowledge. The NAIDOC 2020 theme - Always Was, Always Will Be - recognises and celebrates that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Today we celebrated our rich history through art, music, and dance activities as well as some fun teamwork based games . A big thank you to Mrs Papworth and our Year 6 teachers and students for organising the day for us.
