21.01.2022 I've got some great news that I'd like to share. I am now an ACCREDITED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPGER. It hasn't been easy. 09.01.2022 I just realised I've never shared this news . Well, here I go - I've received 2 Silver Awards from the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) - State (ACT) and National last year! This was captured last year during the Canberra Balloon Spectacular in the very early morning and I honestly hate waking up before the sun comes up, I feel it's against nature itself haha. ... We went to Commonwealth Park first and it was nice, there were heaps of people sitting on the ground in the darkness waiting when the show would begin. When the hot air balloons started appearing in the sky taking off from behind of the National Library - I felt I was missing out on the view for some reason so I started chasing the balloons looking for a better spot. We've changed 5 locations over 20 mins I guess (get in the car- drive- stop-out of the car- find the view- not what I want- repeat ) till I got up in Arboretum that's where I thought I eventually found what I was looking for. This perfect sunrise.
