24.01.2022 A fun day today but we missed the children. We decided that a play in the snow was what we needed. Made a snowman, a few snowballs were thrown, toys in the snow and to finish it all a selfie where we were socially distancing.

23.01.2022 Today we had the Urban Bush Experience at school. We did lots of team building and cooked damper.

23.01.2022 The children in Sharryn's room are doing a virtual tour of Victoria by running a laps of the basketball court. Each lap is one km. On Thursday they made it to Buchan. Now they are creating a cave with bats, spiders and glow worms. They are also going to have stalagmites and stalactites. In art the younger children made spiders for their cave.

17.01.2022 We are so lucky to have our lovely outside spaces at Olinda Primary School. The children enjoy playing three different tiggy' games.

16.01.2022 The school has been freshly painted, old windows replaced and new wood inserted where it was needed. The outside has been cleared. A big thanks to Roman and Henry for the restoration of the main building. Thank you to Frankie, Ann and John for keeping the outside looking good.

12.01.2022 Today the children started their fence weaving project. The guidance they got was how to fence weave and it needs to reflect our environment. The classes have a gate each. I was impressed with the fact that they coordinated the sun in the same place.

09.01.2022 BOOK WEEK CURIOUS CREATURES, WILD MINDS On Friday the children drew their curious creatures outside with chalk. They had to morph together at least three different animals. In the end they morph vegetables and animals together. We all had a lot of fun.

06.01.2022 School is back in session, and what a gorgeous sight for us parents at pickup. I know my little one had a blast today!

06.01.2022 After discovering static electricity while in the swing the class investigated it further. We did have two balloons that popped.

04.01.2022 Hi Parents Don't forget that Monday is a curriculum day and Tuesday is Melbourne Cup so the children aren't at school. See you all on Wednesday.
