Set up by Mike Chalmers and Tim Seymour-Smith , I really believe in what they are doing and how these things can make the world a better place , so hopefully my small addition can assist . Every night, thousands of Australians experience homele...ssness. But it doesn't have to be that way. This year I'm taking part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise money for the St Vincent de Paul Society to support Australians in need. For one night, I'll be sleeping outside as part of an eye-opening experience to raise awareness and bring home the realities of homelessness. To help break the devastating cycle of homelessness, I need your support. Will you help me to help me reach my target? Donating 50 dollars can make a huge difference to people who need it most. 02.01.2022 Hi Everyone Oli and I have been chatting the last few weeks about the next fundraising idea... Whos up for a challenge?... Olis next project is Christmas presents for the men at the Mens Shelter... Theres 47 men on Christmas morning that will wake up in the shelter feeling blessed Im sure for the roof over their heads and their warm bed BUT can you imagine what it would be like to be so alone? Now imagine how you could silently grin knowing that youve been part of Olis Christmas project when these guys receive a gift from you on Christmas morning! Trust me, the feeling is priceless! Heres how Oli and I see it playing out... Theres 5 weeks in November... Theres 5 items needed by these men... 1 Shampoo 2 Conditioner 3 Deodorant (roll on) 4 Toothbrush 5 Razors Oli and I thought if you decide to take on this challenge, each week you could add to your shopping one of the above items... In the first week of December you could contact me to drop off or pick up... OR... If you want to donate money and Oli do the shopping thats fine too, hell find the best quality bargains... (plus, its great for his maths learning) Whos in? We need 47 of you beautiful people...
