24.01.2022 Easiest way to be in the moment with this gorgeous sunrise

24.01.2022 The watermelon plant is having a great time. Just working on being patient while very excited there will be some watermelons coming our way soon. Fingers crossed.

24.01.2022 Thanks to the rain, this was my mornings greeting. Beautiful flowers on our apple tree. We won't see any apples this year though, our tree is still too small.

23.01.2022 This has taken me longer than had planned however I'm now able to offer something to support practitioners through what has been a really challenging time to practice. I'm offering one per person, free face to face professional supervision sessions at my Eudlo (Sunshine Coast) practice. These supervision sessions are to be booked and taken place in the month of June. It is one free session per person, as the aim is to be able to pay it forward to as many practitioners as pos...sible. There are options as to the setting of professional supervision sessions in Eudlo. The options include a calm and warm office space, a gorgeous yard surrounded by trees and also a walk and talk in a beautiful park.. This is for anyone in the Human services sector. Please send me an email if you would like a free face to face professional supervision session in June. See more

23.01.2022 Taking the good with the bad today. Something has taken a liking to the watermelon plant. One down Hoping the other three get a chance. On the other hand strawberries and tomatoes are having the time of their life!

23.01.2022 Nature, the conduit to feelings of joy and peace.

22.01.2022 I think I'm enjoying Autumn just as much as these butterflies!

21.01.2022 Sharing a little bit more of the morning magic. Here's to the small moments that enable us to take a deep breath in. Just by being in nature we are able to take the deep breathes we need. So wonderful that this can be a little step towards changing the way we look or feel about something.

20.01.2022 What a wonderful reminder!

20.01.2022 Hello zucchini! Loving the tenacity of this plant to keep on growing whilst I develop my green fingers

19.01.2022 The wonderful feeling of being busy as a bee when doing what you love.

18.01.2022 Natures abundance on display

18.01.2022 It's the small things. Found this gorgeous strawberry flower this morning.

17.01.2022 Love this! Three Under The Rain

17.01.2022 I still have a few spaces for one free face to face professional supervision sessions. The sessions are in Eudlo, Sunshine Coast. The sessions are to be booked and to occur in June. There is no obligation to continue ongoing professional supervision sessions. I have an opportunity to give back this month and this is a way that I thought might be of benefit to Social Workers during such a challenging time. Feel free to send me an email if you have any questions. https://olivetree.net.au

16.01.2022 Finally have planted watermelon seedlings! Pretty excited about what will come from these four tiny plants!

15.01.2022 I've had my head down teaching and marking for the past couple of weeks. I found these beautiful surprises. It seems my garden knows how to do it's thing without me - perhaps this is my gardening style.

15.01.2022 Showing off my new business cards.

14.01.2022 One of the many ways nature holds space

13.01.2022 Stealing the show today

12.01.2022 Getting in early to find the ripe fruit before the birds.

12.01.2022 Picked these strawberries from the garden this morning. I think they will be gone within 30seconds once the kids wake up. Loving Spring!

11.01.2022 So appreciate the rain and it's ability to clear the air. It's magical.

11.01.2022 Apples are growing up! New ones on the way

11.01.2022 This kind of thinking and generosity has such a special place in my heart. Looking forward to seeing more of these around the world.

11.01.2022 I've spent the morning admiring the growth of the marigold and mystery vegetable. They have been thriving with the latest downpours of rain and have become the best of friends.

10.01.2022 Thanks to the rain and several late episodes of Lemony Snickett, I have had the morning to myself. Processing the last few weeks and working out how I can contribute in a positive way to what is happening at the moment. At the moment I think what people will be needing is a connection to nature and to each other. I'll share my second action in a separate post, but my first action will be to take photos of my garden and share stories about what I'm growing. I'd really love for you to share what you are growing, how to use it and how we might share any excess.

10.01.2022 My favourite steps to sit and admire the garden are now apparently part of an obstacle course

09.01.2022 These bees and nasturtiums offering a way to slow down our thinking. Sometimes it's not that easy to find a way to stop the busyness in our heads. Spending time watching bees in our garden takes away the challenge and before you even realise minutes pass and your mind and nerves have had reprieve.

09.01.2022 How cute are these capsicums!

07.01.2022 Children and adults. When we are outside and are able to connect to nature, we already know this.

06.01.2022 This morning I was struggling to find where the beautiful scent was coming from. Our Jasmine is taking it's time to flower. Turns out it was this gorgeous tree. Looking forward to the influx of lemons. Lemon gelato anyone?

05.01.2022 This is our small chilli plant. It produces so many delicious chilli's. It's a great way to be able to share with other people. My son loves spotting the latest to ripen. Any tips on how to store chilli's for a longer period would be greatly appreciated. My chilli's in oil was not so successful.

05.01.2022 Here are some small ways that we can continue to stay connected to nature in this challenging time. Helpful for our health all round.

05.01.2022 Hopefully the beginning of some delicious watermelons

04.01.2022 First gift from our generous apple tree!

03.01.2022 I'm so appreciative of the new Eudlo space. Every time I go there it reminds me to slow down and appreciate connection. These are the gorgeous and thoughtful gifts that my landlords have shared with me. They also love the idea of experiencing professional supervision or counselling outside in nature.

03.01.2022 If I had chickens, I would be able to make my omelette breakfast from the produce in my garden. Just saying....Watch this space

01.01.2022 Sandgate you are so stunning!
