You can delay for up to 3+ hours after birth to weigh your little one, this allows for a longer first feed to initiate chest feeding. The #1 thing I tell Mumma’s they can be the one to carry your baby to be weighed. You can opt for minimal touching from anyone apart from birthing parents/immediate family.
