11.01.2022 Hi all , Over the Christmas and New Year period, Oliver's at Manly restaurant opens every single day . It is an extremely difficult time to get experienced Staff to work ,as everyone likes to have this time off . Some of the days we were the only restaurants open in this area and have to work with skeleton staff and many times very inexperienced staff . 99% of our Wonderful Customers were fabulously happy that we had opened and are very appreciative that we had done so .... And whilst I understand that everyone expects and rightfully so to get great service, with such high volumes of people coming in, to do this in a normal time frame would be impossible. The most heartbreaking thing is that a select few seem to have no concept of what I, the owner of Oliver's Restaurant, a mother with two small beautiful Children, sacrifices to give this service . My hard working, loyal staff work hours upon hours to support me . And to be cruelly reviewed online is so heartbreaking and unfair . We really try way beyond our best ,and it is impossible to serve so many and when we try to only let a certain number in, we are also ridiculed online. Please all our customers that enjoyed their experience at Christmas we would appreciate it if you could take a moment to leave a positive review. Thank you for taking the time to read my short story.
