25.01.2022 Sorry about the dodgy before photo, but here is a cost effective solution to close in the side of this carport. The old timber frame had rotten and the FC sheeting and lattice were falling apart. I replaced it with steel top hat rails and colourbond sheeting.

25.01.2022 These clients are getting a puppy and needed their front garden sorted to keep her in. Here are a couple of before and after photos. Olive Tree Carpentry did the side fence and PA gate, replaced the stepping stones with matching paving, leveled the ground and turfed, slats under the house down the side of the house, pavers down the side of the house and 1 coat primer and 2 coats weather shield (Dulux) on the fence and slats. What a difference!

25.01.2022 1 month on and this orchard/chookrun is almost ready for a coop and some chickens. My clients wanted me to make this clever little design in their back yard. Its a 55m2 chook run, with a chook friendly herb garden planted on the border. This allows the chickens to help themselves to 1/3 of the chicken benefical herbs and leaves 2/3 for my clients. There will always be plenty of herbs, as the garden beds and the orchard is completely timer drip (under mulch) irrigated with th...e orchard having adjustable drippers (to allow the roots to spread deep for water) to turn off and on. We will wait another 4-8 weeks for the trees and plants to establish before the chickens come scratching around. In the orchard we have tri-grafted apple (gala, delicious and pink lady) 2 pear trees, peach, nectarine, cherry, mandarine, lime and blood orange. The plan is to keep the trees well pruned to increase fruiting time and reduce amount of fruit as the trees are supplying fruit mainly for the family. The chickens will also be busy ferilising and aerating the soil as well as providing some pest control. Im excited to see how well this design works out See more

19.01.2022 This pool is slowly sliding down the hill! this is a little pretty up job to cover up the cracked uneven footpath, (which was grinded down) and to back fill the cavity that was forming as the pool slides further down. My client has plans to completely do this area in 5 years.

19.01.2022 Wine Cellar anyone? Did this double cavity insulated cellar for a wine enthusiast. What a perfect idea! Why not get one installed at your house!

07.01.2022 Spot the difference! One of my clients has a beautiful set of custom furniture that she bought 32 years ago. Unfortunately, one of her chairs broke, and she no longer had the complete set! Luckily, Olive Tree Carpentry was able to take one of her chairs and match it so her dining set would be complete again.

06.01.2022 There's nothing more beautiful than a brand new spotted gum deck! My client went full out on this one, with the large posts complementing the wide decking boards. Was a really fun build, look forward to doing it again for someone else! Let me know if you've been thinking about building a new deck, extending an old deck, or maintaining the deck you already have.

This deck had been painted brown luckily I could identify the timber and made a plan to restore it to a highly satisfying finish (trust me its all the woods natural beauty speaking for itself) the client and I then designed the bench seat with irrigated plant boxes to suit his familys style and needs. I couldnt be happier with the result, it was a pleasure to do. I will send an updated photo once it has been planted and mulched.
