17.01.2022 It looks like we’re in for a few rainy days, Melbourne. Thankfully, it won’t be as dramatic as this. In February of 1972, Melbourne recorded its heaviest down...pour of rain 75mm in 17 minutes. The resulting deluge, over 3 feet deep, sent cars floating down the street as panicked Melburnians rushed for higher ground. Public transport stopped, and an elderly woman had to be rescued after falling down a flooded manhole. Do you remember this? Tell us your stories
