24.01.2022 Day 5, Thursday 05/11/20. Glen Innes to Gunnedah. The boys were having some bike troubles yesterday, so they stayed up most of the night to sort them out. Today, however the hard work paid off and the bikes have been unstoppable!

23.01.2022 What a week! The boys are back hard at it playing catch up at the shop. We are pleased to announce that Alex won the Highest Fundraiser award with a total amount of $12,106 and Team Ollie’s raised over $14,000. All proceeds go directly to Variety, The Children’s Charity to help young ones in need across the state and country. On behalf of the team here at Ollie’s, we would like to thank you for your support and efforts in helping us achieve this. Thank you #gloucester #aussiesbackingaussies

21.01.2022 Ollie’s Service Centre is proudly sponsoring Alex in his commitment to raising money for The Movember Foundation. You will be able to catch him and his luscious mildly ginger Mo busking down the main street of Gloucester in front of the National Parks building 9-12 most Saturday mornings.

19.01.2022 Big thanks to "the boys" Alex & Jaimie from Ollie's Automotive Service in Gloucester who have been holding down their day jobs and then travelling all the way t...o Taree to cart water through the night. I will tell more of Alex & Jaimie's story soon, as they are incredible guys, but I wanted to say thank you for your kind donation of oil that they arranged to have privately couriered over here to make sure that it got to people in Elands who need it. They spent their weekend in the Elands area, helping re-fill RFS trucks, re-fill residents tanks and also putting out lots of spot fires. They are beyond generous and are the most genuine blokes you'll ever meet. Cheers boys! See more

17.01.2022 Alex enjoyed another great Saturday morning in down town Gloucester raising money for The Movember Foundation. He even bumped into some of our interstate customers, who whipped out their ukulele, and they enjoyed having a jam together.

16.01.2022 The boys here at Ollie’s have been supporting the ‘Manning Valley Emergency Support’ group over the last week. Tasks include supplying and delivering water to fire affected communities, the RFS, property protection, as well as extinguishing spot fires. James Bratfield and Alex Bratfield find it hard to sit back and watch this unfold without giving those in need a hand! Our thoughts go out to all those affected by this crisis!! Stay safe everyone!!!

15.01.2022 Two generators, generously donated, made their way up the mountain to their new homes in Elands today where they were much needed! Remember that these areas are... still without power so this is the only way for them to run anything! We also sent up a range of food items, chook food, general livestock feed, dog food and some fuel. It was all of your generous donations that made that happen xxx One of our recipients (pictured on right) had a generator that was broken and had it pulled apart trying to fix it when "the boys" arrived to deliver water to their dry tank. Knowing that the generators found good homes makes us really happy...This is what community is all about At least we are doing something right See more

02.01.2022 Like a lot of areas in NSW, Owen, a Boral Asphalt Production Technician, and his wife Taycee-Lea’s home near Wingham has been under threat due to the bushfires.... Determined to help, last week Owen set up his ute and trailer to cart 2000 litres of water and a petrol pump. After work he has been going out to the fires until 1am every night to provide water to the trucks on the front line. By Sunday night he had travelled over 700km and donated 18,000 litres of water. As the community is remote, they are reliant on rain water and the fire trucks were pumping the water supplies dry. On Sunday night, Owen and Taycee-Lee launched, Donate a Tap. Members of the community who could spare water could send their address so the tanks could be filled. More than 70 people have offered to donate water. Last night at 11pm Owen posted online asking if anyone had an IBC, ute or trailer that they could help. Today he has formed a convoy of 21 vehicles who are delivering 21,000 litres at a time. Owen’s wife Taycee-Lea has also been coordinating donations and dropping off supplies to community halls in the outer rural areas. Thank you for your wonderful contribution Owen and Taycee-Lea. Absolute legends! Boral is also supporting the emergency response through a donation to the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Appeal.
