25.01.2022 Today would normally be an occasion where we as a band march and play with pride in the true spirit of the day. While we can't this year, we still remember all who have served - the fallen and those who returned. We commemorate their sacrifice and legacy.

19.01.2022 Saddened to hear of the passing of Sam Mifsud this morning. He was a great man in the Maltese community and a good friend of the band. Many of course will remember him as part of The Mifsud Brothers, for his radio program and DJing as well as his work at La Valette. Rest in peace Sam

15.01.2022 During these difficult times some Travel Agents are keeping their doors open only to service clients refunds or secure their money through credits on future boo...kings. Others simply shut shop as they cannot afford to remain open with no financial return. For those of us that kept our doors open for you, we kindly ask you to appreciate what we are doing on your behalf and please respect the fact that we have to apply for refunds or credits from third parties hence turnaround time may not be as acceptable as we would like. On a second note please do appreciate that any minimal service fee charged to cover expenses is our only means of staying afloat The majority of you are doing the right thing . A very few are not as understanding and think of themselves only. Lets get through this together by helping one another. The good times will return See more
15.01.2022 We're sorry to advise, but several of our upcoming programs have been cancelled: - Good Friday Procession, Horsley Park - Anzac Day March, Sydney - Annunciation Feast with MGM Band, Melbourne... At the moment, we have also cancelled our rehearsals to ensure the safety of our members and their families. While we are not forced to, we want to take a safety first approach. We urge everyone to take care and follow the advice of health authorities. Be careful of misinformation (and avoid spreading it too!) and let's look out for and help one other - we're in this together and we can get through it together

11.01.2022 If you're free this Sunday, get some history into you and go to La Valette to watch 'Culhad al Belt' a documentary movie about the events of Sette Giugno presented by Maltese Cultural Association of NSW. The events of the 7th of June 1919 were a defining moment in Maltese history and had legacy as part of the country's colonial experience and transition to self-government, independence and becoming a republic. It's well worth a watch and it's FREE too so get on in to La Valette this Sunday afternoon.

05.01.2022 As school goes back, don't forget that we offer subsidised #musiclessons for any band instrument and we'll teach you how to play the instrument properly, not like the poor sod in the ALDI catalogue! And PSA, don't buy an instrument from #aldi... It may seem cheap at the time but it won't be worth the eventual repairs.
