25.01.2022 It sure is cold here in Kyneton, but what a lovely place to be. Please ensure all jackets and jumpers are named, our lost property box is overflowing.

25.01.2022 We know it is a crazy time, but let's document it. Let us have something to look back at and say...."We did it". We have extended the time frame as we feel it is a great way to acknowledge our 2020 school year.... Keep well and keep safe.

23.01.2022 What a fantastic "Back to School Preps to 2" morning we had here at OLR. We had lots of staff out and about to help welcome the children back into our school, although it did look a little different for everyone. Our children show us time and time again how amazing and resilient they are. We are very proud of all our families that have been facilitating the home learning.... 21.01.2022 Our Preps going on a nature walk and looking at God’s creation with a reflection in the Prayer Space. They then used materials they found to make their favourite creation.

18.01.2022 Today was a snapshot of what winter will be like. (Don't forget we have toastie warm beanies available for sale $15). These garden delights will not be around much longer so we thought we would share them.

18.01.2022 We have had a wonderful response to our new enrolments for 2021. There is talk we may need to put a cap on our Prep enrolments so if you haven't put your name down yet, don't wait too long.

17.01.2022 Alli Evans Family Day Care has decided to team up with RM Begg and create Kyneton’s very own Spoonville. This is an area where the residents and the people in our community can create their very own spoon, and place together in the gardens of RM Begg. It’s a small but meaningful way for the community of Kyneton to stay connected during these trying times. We have been asked to join in this wonderful heart warming idea and you can join in by either adding a decorated spoon, a...dding a spoon to be decorated or by simply visiting our Spoonville. There are some rules for Spoonville so please take the time to keep reading. Spoonville will be open from Thursday August 27 and run through until The beginning of November. Please remember this is a place shared by many, there is no need to touch, rearrange or remove the spoons. Please make sure that the decorations on your spoons will not blow away, we need to avoid any littering. It’s a good idea to varnish your spoons to avoid any damage. Garden monitors will also do this if your spoons require further varnish. Our spoons do not enjoy the company of pets, please do your best to keep them away. The garden is monitored daily and will be cleared at the end of November, AEFDC understand that wooden spoons are hard to find so they have placed a bucket in the garden with some new and recycled spoons for people to use. If you are unable to decorate and add a spoon, they would love for you to add a spoon in place for someone else to decorate. Thank you, happy decorating

17.01.2022 Today our beautiful LSO Stevie should be in Greece getting married to Mick. COVID-19 has put that back another year so if our girl can't go to the wedding, the wedding will come to her. (No Mick involved in this though). 1/2F have celebrated through out the day to make Stevie feel special, and our staff had a mini reception! Thank you to those people that made this happen.... you know who you are!

17.01.2022 The show must go on.... The 5/6's are having lots of fun during rehearsals for production. The whole school is being filmed on Thursday and Friday, so don't forget to have costumes ready.
