25.01.2022 On Thursday Sep 17, we had OLSH VS St. Philips in Basketball. The boys dominated the court with a final score of 71 37. An outstanding result from a truly dedicated team! Well done OLSH boys!

18.01.2022 The Alice Springs Town Council Christmas Carnival is held Friday 4 December. Each year one young person is selected to turn on the lights of the large Christmas Tree on the main stage on the Council Lawns, which also sets off the fireworks display! This year we have a colouring in competition. I have attached two versions, one for 0-5 years and one for 6+ years. Please complete for your chance to turn on the lights! Entries close 27 November and all submissions will be displayed at the Alice Springs Public Library. Please submit entries to [email protected]

12.01.2022 OLSH students part of the Alice Springs Swimming Club (ASSC) had a very successful and enjoyable weekend attending the Katherine Swimming Carnival. Students, Hannah Markham, Thomas Markham, Paddy Van der Geest Hester, Thomas Van der Geest Hester, Chelsea Brodie, Molly Strauss with Thomas Markham picking up age champion. From a team of 18 swimmers, ASSC came 4th from 8 clubs, 5 age champions, 98 medals of which 49 were gold. ... Great effort from OLSH students, along with the whole team.

07.01.2022 The sport voucher scheme is available to every school-enrolled child from preschool to year 12 and home-schooled children. Children living in an urban area are eligible to receive two $100 sport vouchers each year - one in January and one in July - for sport, recreation and cultural activities. Parents or carers need to apply for vouchers online each semester.... All vouchers expire on 31 May each year. Parents and carers can apply online at www.sportvoucher.nt.gov.au/apply

05.01.2022 Parents/Guardians, We wish to apologise for an error that was included in last week's College Newsletter under the heading 'COLLEGE DVD'. The College Concert 2020 DVD &/or USB is now available for Pre-Order. Unfortunately the DVD's/USB's are not free to all. The free DVD's/USB's will only be available to those who indicated that they could not purchase tickets and who chose to watch the live-streaming in the Campus Library.... If you would like to purchase a DVD and/or USB please contact your campus reception to place your order and make your payment of $10 for each item you wish to order.
