Please come to the Mosque from 4:00 pm to pick up your Eid Takeaway Dinner.... Fairy floss, Popcorn, Chocolates for Children from 3:00pm. If you want to contribute by donating any food items such as sweets, packable fruits, water or juice bottles/packs etc. then please make sure that we have those items delivered before 3:00pm. Please do come and share the spirit of Eid by having our Delicious Takeaway Eid Dinner and/or Party Food Items for Children. 21.01.2022 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Eid Prayer Announcement InshAllah Eid will be on Saturday. Registration is compulsory and due to start of construction work there is no space outside to pray. Per COVID-19 ristrictions only 35 people will be allowed inside the hall.... Prayer times and registration process will be shared tomorrow inshaAllah. We will have multiple sessions and will try to accomodate as many as we can who will be celebrating Eid on Saturday. For those celebrating Eid on Friday, there will be a session tomorrow at 7:45am. Registration is compulsory. InshAllah, Wednesday 14 April 2021, will be First Day of Ramadan The Australian National Imam Council (ANIC) in its statement on Friday 9 April 2021 announced that based on scientific calculation tomorrow, Tuesday 12 April 2021, will be first day of fasting. Ramadan mubarak to those starting tomorrow. Traweeh Prayer Due to COVID19 restriction there will be Two Sessions of Isha and Traweeh prayers. First Isha Iqama will be at 7:05 pm followed by Eight Traweeh prayer Second Isha Iqama will be at 7:45pm followed by Twenty Traweeh prayer Daily Iftar InshAllah there will be daily Iftar at Omar Mosque starting from Wednesday We acknowledge that there is difference of opinion among scholars about the moonsighting and we hold opinion of all the scholars in the highest esteem and respect.

17.01.2022 Start of the Tahajjud Prayer in Congregation from Tonight, Sunday 2 May 2021, 3:30am InshAllah, starting from Tonight, Sunday 2 May 2021, there will be daily Tahajjud Prayer in Congregation @ 3:30am, until the last day of month of Ramadan followed by sohoor. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, Seek Lailat Al-Qadr (Night of Decree-night better than a thousand months) in the odd nights out of the last ten nights of Ramadan. (Al-Bukhari).... Those who have started Fasting on Tuesday 13 April 2021, tonight is the first odd night of the last ten nights and those who have started Fasting on Wednesday 14 April 2021, Tomorrow Monday 3 May 2021 will be the first odd night of the last ten nights. Sisters are welcome to join as well.

13.01.2022 Nine(9) & Tenth(10) Muharram Takeaway Iftar Dinner Saturday, 29 August & Sunday 30 August 2020 InshAllah, Tomorrow, Saturday 29 August 2020 (9th Muharram) & Sunday 30 August (10th Muharram/ Ashura) there will be Takeaway Iftar at Omar Mosque. Please come to Omar Mosque from 5:10pm to pick up your Takeaway Iftar on both these days.... If you want to contribute by donating any food items such as sweets, packable Fruits, Small Water or Juice bottles/packs etc then please make sure that we have those items delivered before 3:00pm. InshAllah, we are planning to prepare around 150 Iftar on each day*. Please do fast and encourage your family and friends to fast on these days and come to Mosque to collect *delicious takeaway Iftar.
