02.01.2022 Bouncing along rutted roads, Mom is travelling to one of her weekly village stops to bring hope and practical support. Mom is a social worker with OM's Project Freedom working in Cambodia, one of the poorest nations in Asia. Together with her fellow workers, she teaches Bible lessons, praise songs and English classes to village communities. She also organises a Bible study in a nearby slum where she prays and listens to the women that attend.... She is part of a team that provides life-changing social work, training, medical support and education for women, children and families. Trapped in poverty, they are vulnerable to oppression and human trafficking. As we look toward Christmas and celebrate the freedom that Jesus has given us, we recognise people like Mom who serve her community.
