Located in Linde...now at the family friendly General store featuring Play ground & amenities, you can see the riders lapping past frequently whilst enjoying a coffee or cold drink. The course is approximately 4 klm & mostly flat with a short climb just before you turn left for the finishing straight. 16.01.2022 CATTLEMEN 100 MTB OMEO - Saturday November 28 2020 Inspired by the legendary Leadville 100 mtb and backed by the Alps link group and the local community, Velo G...rammont are proud to present the 'Cattlemen 100 MTB Omeo'. The backroads of the Omeo region will form the decor for the first edition of this independent mountain bike race. Using their international cycling experience Velo Grammont came up with a breathtaking route in and around the town of Omeo, a route which suits all types of riders from xc-mtb adepts, gravel grinders to roadies. And since cyclists don't like to 'hike a bike' they made sure the entire route is rideable ... at least if you're fit enough. LOCATION: OMEO, VIC 3898 - AUSTRALIA RACE DISTANCE: 105 miles / 170 km ELEVATION: 12,000+ ft / 3,650+ m RACE CUT-OFF TIME: 12 hours START TIME: 7.00 am No matter how cool it is to ride a gravel bike nowadays this event is XC-MTB only!
