20.01.2022 Everyone can do something ... One way to change the story of domestic and family violence can be as simple as calling out disrespect when you see it or hear it. This could be calling out sexist jokes or comments with your mates or work colleagues.... Be an active bystander. SHOW its not ok, Show SUPPORT to the person experiencing disrespect and SPEAK UP. Of course doing something doesnt mean putting yourself in harm's way. Always keep yourself safe. If unsure, find a different way or another time to approach the topic when you feel comfortable and safe to do so. Seek advice if you need further support. For advice OR support, phone 1800 RESPECT (1800 737 732) or phone Safe Steps on 1800 015 188. #dosomething #DoingNothingDoesHarm
