Having an allergy to food can be so hard to live with, and this virtual show will shine a light on research, managing diet and foods you can safely eat with presentations from renowned experts. With our donuts we've created a delicious treat that can be enjoyed by just about everyone free from gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, wheat, yeast and sulphites. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our OMG! Decadent Donut businesses are accredited by Coeliac Australia and Vegan Australia. 03.01.2022 Hi there! Jacob & Liv here from OMG Donuts Tweed Heads. We started about almost four months ago on the tweed but it seems there’s still a lot who haven’t heard of us, so we thought we’d introduce ourselves again We are local to the Tweed, living at Bilambil Heights at the moment, and like many were hit pretty hard at the start of the year. We managed to get a couple of contracts in Central Queensland as Covid hit, which took us through to September. After they finished, ...we decided to invest in ourselves, and bought this little donut biz so we could move back to the Tweed to be with family. Starting up has been a bit up and down with markets being hard to get into (we are at @saltvillagemarket and @piggabeen_valley_market every month), which is traditionally where you’d find us, so we had to think out of the box a little and approached holiday parks and other local businesses to pop up at (they have been super supportive). We do deliveries, and we are looking into a shopfront, but that will probably have to wait until later in the year as we’re expecting a baby at the end of May. We have also been working with Caba Surf Club, with joint Nipper days and carnivals, and we’ll be donating a percentage of our profits from those events back to the club every year. We’re all about community and building those great relationships Our favourite part of this business so far has been meeting all of the people and putting smiles on so many faces! There are so many people who have never had a donut or haven’t had one in recent years because of allergies/ intolerances and dietary preferences. It is such a feel-good moment when you see the smile on a little kids face who has always felt left out when their friends are having all the treats! If you have tried our donuts and loved them, we would love for you to share our page so more of the community can get to know us! We look forward to getting to know so many more of you!
